In our work Breastfeeding LENS supports the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC) and believe that breastfeeding is an integral part of safeguarding, as much as is possible, the survival, health and wellbeing of all children.
Scientific evidence has confirmed the positive impact of breastfeeding on the development of the child; (citations: Lancet Special Series on Breastfeeding, Jan 2016, Save the Children, ‘Breastfeeding; Policy Matters’ 2015).
